Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a reputable care facility located in the heart of Northampton, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to their residents. Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to the residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centered care and support to residents, promoting independence and well-being.
* Administer medication in accordance with prescribed procedures and training.
* Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any changes in residents' conditions.
* Support and supervise junior care assistants, providing guidance and training as needed.
* Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
* Participate in care planning and review meetings to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Medication training and experience in administering medication.
* Previous experience in a similar role within a care setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable and flexible with a strong commitment to providing quality care.
* United Kingdom (required).
* No Sponsorship offered.
