We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Cover Supervisor to join our primary school in Milton Keynes. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the class in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged in their work. Deliver pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. Support students with their learning, helping them to complete tasks and manage any issues that arise. Ensure classroom behavior is managed effectively and that school policies are adhered to. Provide feedback on students’ work and progress to teaching staff. Assist with general classroom duties, including preparing resources and supporting students' individual needs. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within a primary school setting. Confident in managing classroom behavior and maintaining an effective learning environment. Ability to follow lesson plans and provide support to students with varying needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students and staff alike. A proactive and flexible approach to work. A valid Enhanced DBS check (or the ability to obtain one).
