The Role As a Potable Water Project Manager you’ll manage the contractor's construction of the Orwell Logistic Park Water Storage installation. The scope includes installation of storage tanks and associated civils, pipework, valves and operation controls, and ensuring legislation compliance. You’ll be required to demonstrate experience of delivering projects of this nature in scope and have experience of working with NEC 3/4 options A & C. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full project life cycle and project scope using and administering the NEC ECC form of contract options A & C. Commercially astute, forecast spend and budget and have experience working with P6 Cost and Resource loaded Programmes. Oversee the Detailed Design Phase of Water Storage and associated civils, excavation and duct installation, pipework, valves and operation controls, and ensuring legislation compliance. Establish and maintain communication with stakeholders to secure necessary approvals, permits, and coordination for the Water Storage facility. Coordinate with SZC Delivery/Engineering Project Managers to ensure a seamless integration of the storage supply to site, adhering to technical specifications and safety protocols. Stakeholder management between the Principal Designer, Contractor, Statutory Undertakers (SU’s), SZC Project Teams, Local Planning Authority and third-party consents team. Arrange and facilitate Detailed Design coordination meetings and workshops, to agree solutions and actions to be implemented at specific scheme interfaces. Experience in schedule management, risk management ,change control management and quality management. Feed into the Reporting Cycle and Co-ordinate the scope with the Off-Site utilities Team diversions. Excellent time management sand communication skills both verbal and written. Proactive and proven ability to manage priorities and achieve deadlines. A team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills who interacts effectively with subordinates, colleagues, and clients. Team leader defining roles, responsibilities, and expectations to ensure objectives are achieved and deadlines are maintained. Understanding of GDPR and protocols that must be implemented to ensure confidentiality. What You’ll Bring Essential knowledge, Skills & Experience: Proven experience of working on large infrastructure or utility infrastructure projects/programmes. Knowledge of DWI Standards. Experienced in working on projects with DCO constraints. Proven experience working in a high-performing team. Microsoft PowerBI, PowerApps and SharePoint Lists & Libraries. Project Management qualification (APM) and/or proven delivery experience of 5 years minimum. Experienced in the delivery water storage project and safe operation of facilities. Experienced in the delivery of excavations in the Highway (NRSWA). Experienced in working with NEC ECC Contract, Options A & C. Experience of working with Water Authorities. Experienced in working with P6 Programme Management. Commercially astute. CDM 2015 Contemporary IT skills, specifically working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, specifically SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint IOSH qualifications CSCS Card Worked with CEMAR software.
