This is an opportunity to train as a secondary teacher through the FULLY FUNDED PGCE at the Open University (2-year programme). The successful candidate will teach through the medium of Welsh. The school is committed to supporting the Welsh Government's campaign to increase the number of Welsh speakers in Wales.
The program is aimed at graduates who want to change careers or have experience working with children and young people, including teaching assistants and learning coaches. Applications from candidates in their final year at university are also welcome.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM
Entry requirements for the Open University PGCE pathway:
* A standard equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above in Mathematics or Mathematics-Numeracy.
* A standard equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above in either English Language or Welsh First Language.
* A full UK honours degree (or equivalent) with at least 50% relevance to the subject to teach learners aged 12-16.
* Applicants need to be available for a full-time contract (not term-time only) until the end of the program in August 2027.
