The main purpose of the role is to join our high performing weekend street cleansing team. Duties of the role will include driving a 7.5t mechanical precinct sweeper, emptying of litter bins across Walsall and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in out Town Centre. Key Responsibilities: Undertake operational tasks within our street cleansing service. Plan and schedule daily work activities to optimise efficiency and ensure timely completion of tasks. Operate various equipment and tools related to the service, such as vehicles, machinery, and hand tools. Drive a range of vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes (Category C1). Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, following procedures and reporting any incidents or risks. Requirements: A full driving license with a minimum Category C1 qualification. Hold an appropriate Health and Safety qualification. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent practical experience in one or more environmental disciplines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and maintaining a clean and green environment.
