Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:
Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom setting
Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to support students' learning and emotional well-being
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN
Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN
Education:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
Experience:
Prior experience working in a school or educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
Organisational skills and the ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Training in specific SEN interventions or strategies
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a classroom environment, providing direct support to students with SEN. The position may require some flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of the students and the school.
