An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and motivated Dermatology team based in the satellite unit at Leighton Hospital for a PA/Admin supervisor.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced, organised and forward thinking individual who will be working with our dedicated multi-disciplinary team to help deliver great care and service to our patients.
You will be responsible for a wide range of medical secretarial and admin duties and will provide administration support for the clinical team which includes answering phones and emails, medical audio typing, diary management and monitoring of departmental/trust targets including letter turnaround times and RTT as well as monitoring histologies in this supervisory role.
You will be organising meetings as well as producing and circulating minutes of meetings as required. You will also be able to cope with interruptions whilst in periods of concentration and be able to manage conflicting priorities.
You will be line managing a team of APA's with regards to Motiv8's and return to works.
Person Specification
Skills
* Supervisory skills/training Advanced ECDL or equivalent
* Understand and manage health records/waiting lists/ICS computer systems/Staff training/work based learning skills
RSA Audio typing or equivalent
* Significant Medical secretarial experience/A&C 4 equivalent experience relevant to the post
* RSA 3 typewriting or equivalent experience
Knowledge
* At least 2 years RTT experience
Previous Experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to write detailed and accurate reports
