An exciting fixed term opportunity has arisen within the Imaging Directorate, Royal Stoke Hospital Reception Team for an enthusiastic, efficient and flexible individual who is able to multi-task.
This is a demanding role comprising a wide range of administration duties and telephone Helpdesk support. You will need to be able to communicate well at all levels and have good attention to detail. Telephone / ICT skills are essential. You will be a quick thinker who is able to juggle tasks, a team player and also a confident person who is able to work independently.
You will need to be flexible as the rota requires Monday to Sunday working including mornings, afternoons, long days, weekends, and bank holidays. The role will also include occasional cover at County Hospital Imaging Reception.
Main duties of the job
To welcome patients into the Imaging Department and attend them on the Imaging computerised system. The patients attending could be for X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and some Interventional Radiology.
To complete administration duties including using a PC to process all the referrals coming in to the department, processing DNAs, actioning emails, answering the telephone, Batch Printing and booking patients into the the correct department together with some ad hoc duties as needed.
To liaise with all clinical Team Leaders and staff in the Imaging Department.
