Job Title: Directorate Assistant Location: Head Office, Rotherham Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £34,415 per annum Benefits: Generous benefits package including, 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays, salary sacrifice pension with generous employer contribution, Westfield Health, free onsite parking and other benefits We are seeking an exceptional assistant to support our CEO and directorate team in a role where you will play a pivotal part in the delivery of our charity’s objectives. We are looking for someone who is multi-skilled, able to co-ordinate multiple projects and activities, whilst having meticulous attention to detail. This is far more than an administrative role although exceptional administrative skills are a given, with experience of scheduling meetings, agenda management, and minute taking. But alongside this we need a strong communicator with confidence to undertake professional interaction with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external, and the ability to identify and resolve challenges and effective solutions whilst remaining calm and composed. The role also provides administrative support for the charity’s board of trustees and associated committees, alongside facilitating the health and safety function, maintaining systems and processes to secure compliance. It is essential that you have substantial experience of supporting a CEO, senior management team or senior board members but of equal importance is the ability to adapt and respond to different working practices, effectively prioritise across a wide range of projects and tasks, and have experience of handling sensitive and confidential information. Key to success in this role, you will also have experience of data analysis and report writing, have the ability to be self-motivated, with excellent organisational and time management skills, and be able to resolve problems in a proactive, practical and positive manner, taking the initiative with a pragmatic 'hands on’ approach to work. You will need excellent IT skills, a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle along with flexibility to travel across a wide geographic area with occasional overnight stays. Please note this is an office based role.
