We're hiring an Operations Manager role for an FMCG scale-up business, based in London (hybrid). The company has established a strong customer base within the UK (B2B & B2C) and are looking to launch into new markets, inlcuding North America. This is a leadership role, reporting into the founder and managing a direct team of 3 people across planning, logistics and supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Operational Strategy and Efficiency: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Work closely with the CEO to implement systems that enhance productivity and quality. Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve company goals. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and improve cost per delivery. Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management. Identify and address potential risks and opportunities within the operational framework. Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to senior management. Supply Chain and Partner Collaboration: Maintain strong, communicative relationships with suppliers, customers, and partners. Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Develop and lead third-party partnerships as the company grows. Use industry analytics to source and secure transportation and warehousing services. Team Leadership and Management: Direct, train, and manage the Operations team (including logistics and technical) to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Collaborate with the New Product Development (NPD) team to drive system and operational improvements. Key Qualifications and Skills: Experience within an Operations/Supply Chain leadership role, ideally within a FMCG/drinks/food Experience in a start-up, scale-up or SME environment Strong leadership skills with a collaborative approach Good data management and analytical skills An understanding of supply chain/logistics systems & processes The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £65,000 plus benefits, including a share scheme.
