Job Specification: Electrical Engineer
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and additional tasks/emergencies in line with contract requirements for Mechanical Services and associated systems.
2. Ensure effective communication, especially when reporting plant problems or failures that may impact the client's business.
3. Complete all plant and Building Management System (BMS) checks on time, recording and communicating any issues to the Shift Leader.
4. Conduct PPM according to set schedules, maintaining high engineering standards to maximize the operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated systems.
5. Proactively engage in preventative maintenance and maintain good site husbandry.
6. Promptly address all Helpdesk-related reactive maintenance issues related to mechanical infrastructure, heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipework, and associated mechanical systems, or as directed.
7. Repair electrical and mechanical systems, controls, and associated systems.

Candidate Requirements
1. Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer with expertise in industrial, commercial, and domestic systems, performing PPMs per SFG20 or equivalent, with advanced fault-finding diagnostic experience.
2. Qualifications:
1. 18th Edition IEE Regulations
2. Electrical apprenticeship (ideal)
3. IOSH Working/Managing Safely (desirable)
4. Safe System of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS (desirable)
5. L8 Training (desirable)
3. Competent in the electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
4. Working knowledge of Air Handling Units, Building Management Systems, Air Conditioning equipment, Cold Water systems, Heating and Ventilation systems, Water Treatment, UPS, and Emergency Generators.
5. Extensive experience in a multi-disciplinary technical team within complex facilities.
6. Significant M&E Operations Management experience in a business-critical client environment.
7. Authorizations: HV & LV Authorised Person
8. Familiarity with fuelling procedures.
9. Experience with HV generation and control systems.
10. Experience working within a critical and secure environment.
Additional Requirements
1. Complete critical environment training and scenario training as per schedule.
2. Guide and train the shift team on SOPs/EOPs.
3. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of one functional area through significant job experience and training.
4. Support business contracts and professional functions effectively.
