Maintaining and improving our diverse housing portfolio requires strong leadership and strategic vision. As we continue to invest in our properties across Bath and the surrounding areas, we need an experienced Senior Surveyor to lead a team of professionals ensuring our homes meet the highest standards.

What you'll be doing
You'll inspire and guide a team of talented Surveyors, helping them deliver home improvements that truly matter to our residents. Together, you'll turn investment plans into real-life results that meet financial goals while keeping customer satisfaction at the heart of everything you do.
Your commercial expertise will shine as you build genuine partnerships with contractors, finding that sweet spot where quality meets value for money. You'll create a team culture where everyone understands that behind every property is a person whose home matters deeply to them.
When buildings present challenges, you'll apply your technical know-how to diagnose issues and find practical, affordable solutions. You'll navigate planning requirements with confidence, especially when working with Bath's historic buildings that need special care and attention.
With a substantial £85m+ budget under your guidance, you'll make smart financial decisions that maximise the positive impact on our residents' homes. And throughout all your work, you'll maintain an unwavering commitment to safety standards, particularly around critical areas like fire safety, asbestos management, and gas and electrical systems.

More about you
You'll have a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience, with proven leadership skills and the ability to deliver complex projects on time and to budget.
Your experience in formulating and implementing property investment strategies will be crucial, as will your ability to manage substantial budgets successfully. You'll have strong commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Most importantly, you're passionate about creating high-quality homes and communities, with an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction.
