On behalf of our client, a leading financial services organisation in Yorkshire, we are delighted to present a brand new opportunity for a PMO Lead. This role has been created as a result of significant investment and transformation within the company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and driving the success of the project management office.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and lead the PMO, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals and objectives.
Develop and implement PMO processes, standards, and best practices.
Oversee project governance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Provide strategic guidance and support to project managers and teams.
Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and issues.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in project delivery.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a PMO Lead or in a similar role within the financial services sector.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, P30, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
