Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cancer Services Team for a fixed term, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Patient Pathway Coordinator. Main duties of the job You will be required to work closely with clinicians, specialist nurses, secretaries and other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) and associated departments, to ensure that patients on a cancer pathway are proactively managed. You will be required to coordinate the patient journey from referral, through diagnostics and treatment, highlighting any potential delays in the pathway promptly. Candidates must have excellent organisational, communication, interpersonal skills and possess the ability to have difficult conversations in challenging environments. Experience of working within a Healthcare setting is essential for this role alongside an in depth knowledge of National Cancer Waiting Times targets.
