Working hours: 38.5 hours per week Interview Date: To be confirmed An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager who will be responsible for operationally managing our Support Staff team, to deliver a high quality, innovative, cost effective, support programme that emphasises client choice for our vulnerable young clients, aged 16 to 25 years old. This role is central to achieving positive outcomes for our clients and service by achieving internal and contractual Key Performance Indicators. Along with the rest of the Management Team, they will promote a culture of continuous professional development, reflective practice, and a compassion that develops best practice. They will be confident delivering performance reviews and monitoring as well as coaching and mentoring. They must be passionate, highly motivated, have great relationship building and communication skills. Knowledge of the main support needs of homeless young people and the ability to build client involvement across the service are essential. All applicants will need to be sympathetic with the mission of The Salvation Army. The successful candidate will: have managerial and line management experience have experience of managing and delivering a client focussed holistic support service. have excellent verbal communication skills, including chairing meetings and working with external stakeholders be solution focussed, with ability to make decisions under pressure. be able to manage income, and ensuring clients are debt free. have effective time management skills. have the ability to meet our core values of Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Passion, Boldness and Compassion.
