Trustee Vacancy Opportunity to Join our Trust Windsor Learning Partnership is a Multi Academy Trust serving the community of Windsor, we strive to deliver excellence in education for each of our 3000 pupils across the six academies within our Trust. What are we looking for? We are seeking to appoint two new Trustees to support the delivery of the Trust’s vision, ethos and strategy on our journey in inspiring our students to achieve and flourish. Our Trust is expanding, and to support our future growth we would particularly welcome applications from those with skills and experience in: Education Special Educational Needs Health & Psychology Legal & HR The board are looking for committed individuals who can demonstrate excellent strategic skills, have plenty of ideas and an innovative approach. Being a Trustee is a very rewarding, voluntary role right at the forefront of developments in education. An Academy Trustee's role is to hold the Academy Trust's leadership to account and deliver the Trust's objects, while upholding the Nolan Principles of Public Life. This is done by making strategic decisions and ensuring the Trust meets its goals. We welcome applicants who seek to join us in creating an environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and personally, with opportunities for enrichment and a community-led approach to education. We recognise our social and moral role in our communities and hope that our new Trustees can work with us to continue striving for that. Our students come from diverse social backgrounds, and we actively encourage expressions of interest from people with diverse backgrounds. Meetings All Meetings are planned and dates are published at the beginning of each academic year. Board meetings occur six times per year and are usually held face to face at one of the Trusts Schools. The Board has three sub-committees, each of which meet three times a year. Trustees are invited to join a committee via a discussion with the Chair and CEO.
