Finance Manager
£50,000 to £55,000 per annum, Mon - Thurs 08:00 to 16:30 - Fri 07:30 to 15:00, BS5 Speedwell / St. George Bristol, Flexible start & finish times, Excellent 7% pension, 33 days holidays, Life assurance, Parking plus more.
A global manufacturing organisation established for over 70 years is recruiting for a finance manager to join their team. Working within a team of 2 and reporting directly to the managing director, you will be part of their close-knit team within a modern office environment. Holding multiple certifications, this opportunity is not to be missed.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all company accounts including payroll.
2. Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
3. Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
4. Examine financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
5. Report to the MD with timely and accurate financial information.
6. Assist the MD in presenting reports to senior managers and board members.
7. Provide strategic input to the direction of the business, including modelling and business scenarios.
8. Deliver timely and accurate management accounts and monthly performance reports, including analysis.
9. Manage the Financial Audit Process.
10. Prepare forecasts, budgets, and reporting; track and evaluate.
11. Provide insight and support of pricing/costing.
12. Close management of Cashflow Forecasting and other Treasury duties.
13. Manage Month and Year End processing.
Requirements:
1. ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
2. ERP Systems experience.
3. Sage Accounts experience.
4. Manufacturing or supplier industry experience.
5. High level of competency with Excel.
6. Scenario Planning and Modelling.
7. Managing senior stakeholders' expectations.
8. VAT Returns on a quarterly basis.
9. Basic experience and understanding of running a Payroll process.
