Based: Ilkeston, working Monday to Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator / Transport Planner to work for a leading hire business. As a Transport Administrator / Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective transportation of modular buildings and structures. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating transportation routes, optimising delivery and collection schedules, and managing logistical operations to meet customer requirements while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with transportation regulations. The role requires excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders, along with providing administrative support to the branch.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous experience as a Transport Planner / Transport Administrator / Logistics Planner / Logistics Administrator or similar.
2. Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a positive attitude.
3. Proven experience in general administration and using IT systems.
