About the role The ideal person will reinforce the excellent work of the teaching staff by supporting the individual both within and outside of the classroom environment. You will be a professional role model to the pupils, with the confidence to challenge and the creativity to motivate. Your key role will be planning and delivering targeted interventions to identified students who need additional support with maintaining high expectations and identifying personal aspirations. Under the direction of the Special Education Needs & Disability Coordinator, work as part of a team to promote the emotional, physical and educational development of pupils, including those with special needs. About you We are looking for someone who is a special kind of person who can enable our students to be empowered in having the complete school experience regardless of needs and so they are able to achieve their personal academic success. Previous experience of working with children is essential. You will need to be patient, student-centred and have excellent communications skills.
