Museum Co-ordinator Salary: SCP 13, currently £28,163pa The Town Council is seeking to appoint a skilled and dynamic Museum Co-ordinator to take the Museum to the next stage of its development and expansion. This new post has been created to transform our visitor offer and establish Wareham as an outstanding Local Authority run, museum service. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have relevant experience and a track record of managing a similar facility. We are seeking a co-ordinator who is highly motivated and community focused, with clear evidence of communication, customer services, organisational skills and volunteer coordination. To succeed in this role, we believe you need to be a natural and confident leader. You will be able to meet the essential criteria set out in the Job Specification and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills within an interview. You will have proven experience within the heritage and/or museum sector with knowledge on the day to day running of a museum. You will be looking for a new challenge and an exciting opportunity. Further Information The position is full-time, 37 hours per week, allocated flexibly in relation to the needs of the Museum’s public programme, opening hours and Council meeting requirements.
