Female support worker needed for young lady in Ashton at £12 per hour - 10hrs pw term time - Bristol - BS3

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will support my daughter who needs care and support to live her personal and social life according to her wishes and interests.
This role involves:
* Learning some basic kitchen safety skills
* Being supported to prepare/cook simple meals
* Being supported to explore further work experience opportunities in the future
* Being supported to access the community without her family
* Being supported to attend local social clubs
* Being supported to develop and maintain friendships.
About the employer:
My daughter has epilepsy and other disabilities; with this, it is very important for the support worker to be extremely patient with her and provide encouragement when completing tasks. We have other children in the home along with two cats.
My daughter's hobbies include:
* Bowling
* Cinema
* Arts and crafts
* Animals
* Acting/drama
* Swimming
* Music
* Singing
* Dancing
* Eating out
Qualities in a candidate:
* Warm and friendly
* Able to use own initiative
* Happy, positive, and caring nature
* Positive and reliable
* Must be confident in using a wheelchair
* Essential: potential PA speaks very clear English as my daughter's concentration and understanding are quite limited
* Not essential to drive as my daughter has a bus pass
* Essential: PA's should have at least 4 years experience
Hours: The position offers 10hrs per week term time and 15hrs per week during school breaks. Times and days will be discussed at interview; no weekends will be worked.
