We are seeking a temp FP&A Analyst (Maternity leave replacement) to provide first-line support to the Head of FP&A, UK on a range of ever-changing business-critical topics essential to delivering the ambitious growth plans for REE in the UK
The Role
FP&A are responsible to drive data-led & strategic decisions on a daily basis. A high focus on understanding actuals and forecast is key. The role provides vast responsibilities, especially in the form of business partnering effectively with various departments both in the UK and internationally. Speaking finance to non-finance colleagues and becoming the ‘face of’ FP&A alongside the Head of FP&A UK, is essential
Key Responsibilities
* Purchase requisition approvals in line with company budget
* Understanding supplier quotes and challenging VFM
* PR/PO coding checks
* Report running and data manipulation
* Support the analysis of actuals vs forecast (P&L and Cash)
* Support the Head of FP&A in building and maintaining various financial models
* Ensuring the integrity of data
* Support business partnering with senior stakeholders across the business
* Loading budgets/forecasts into SAP

* Qualified or Part Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with at least 3 years relevant experience, preferably within the automotive sector (or equivalent demonstrable experience)
* Excellent proficiency in the use of office products (Excel)
* Confident in double entry bookkeeping
* High focus on detail and data manipulation
* Able to deliver to tight timescales, especially around month-end / quarter end
* Experience of working closely with both finance and non-finance colleagues, equally challenging and supporting them to meet business and financial objectives
* Experience of working in SAP is an advantage
* Effective communication skills both orally and in writing
* Able to work well as part of a team
* Ability to work accurately and methodically
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment role
* Experience in working collaboratively and cross-functionally
