RCT Council is once again preparing to recruit to its Graduate Programme that provides fantastic opportunities to work in a vibrant environment, learn new and transferable skills, meet people from a range of backgrounds and develop a professional career in Rhondda Cynon Taf. All Graduate Officers will be supported to complete either a Level 4 Project Management qualification or job-related technical training (all fully funded) as part of the programme.
Maintaining Accounts at RCT
The administration of the Council’s accounts is paramount to ensuring public and staff services continue to run smoothly. The Finance Service’s Business Plan outlines the key objectives and delivery methods of the Council’s accounts management processes. Within the service, the range of work available is broad from financial planning, management and financial accounting to analysing and presenting data.
Who We’re Looking For
The Graduate Officer will have a keen eye for detail and be able to produce work with a high degree of accuracy. The role will be busy and involve managing multiple deadlines and working under pressure. As an individual, you will be highly organised and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements
A minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent in a Finance, Accounting, Management Accounting or Economics related subject.
