As a Weekend Care Professional with Home Instead, you’ll provide essential support to our clients in the comfort of their homes. Your duties may include:
- Assisting with outings and errands
- Managing medication
- Providing personal care
- Helping with mobility
- Preparing meals
- Handling household tasks
Here’s what we offer to support you while you care for others:
- No uniform required
- Guaranteed hours contracts available
- Competitive pay at £13.50 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement
- Higher pay rates for completed NVQ levels
- Minimum of 35p per mile for travel expenses
- Paid travel and wait time
- All mandatory training paid at £12 per hour
- Access to a 24-hour employee assistance program (Life & Progress)
- Responsive on-call support for emergencies
- Supportive management with an open-door policy
- Quick start within 6 working days if your DBS is on the Update Service
