Our Very Sheltered Services are development-based and provide enhanced provision to support adults with varying needs including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, older adults, and vulnerable adults in their own homes to live as independently as they are able with a responsive service adapting to their housing support plans.

About You
Essential
* A genuine passion for helping people.
* Able to demonstrate Hanover Scotland values in inclusion, accountability, respect, and collaboration.
* Ability to relate empathetically to people and recognize their right to choose and independence.
* Willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC.
* Ability to work flexibly and as a lone worker on site, covering a 24-hour shift pattern.
* Able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
Desirable
* 1 year experience in a care or housing setting.
* SVQ level 2 or above and be willing to work towards an SVQ 3.
* Demonstrated commitment and ability to undertake care practice in accordance with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) code of practice, National Care Standards, Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care, and Hanover's policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
This Permanent Support Worker - Montgomery Court, Paisley role involves working on a rota covering various shifts, including sleepovers. This rota is a rolling rota to support a work-life balance. You will be working as part of a team to ensure that services are delivered flexibly, innovatively, and in a dignified, safe, and stimulating way, promoting independence and encouraging customers to exercise choice.
* Support Workers are responsible for housing support in line with housing plans agreed by the customer.
* Assistance with personal mobility support, support with daily personal tasks, and general housekeeping.
* Providing all aspects of housing support, on site, in accordance with Scottish Government guidelines.
