Job Description
Lead the design validation strategy and evidence collection for innovative clinical solutions in medical imaging, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal customer outcomes in the Image Guided Therapy (IGT) iApps organization at Philips.
Your role:
* This role significantly contributes to advancing healthcare technology by ensuring our innovations meet user needs, are safe and effective to use and comply with regulatory standards, ultimately improving patient outcomes and facilitating better-informed medical decision-making during minimally invasive procedures worldwide.
* You will be responsible for defining the design validation strategy (including algorithm and claim validation), coordinating resources, and managing stakeholder relationships. You need to stay up to date with innovations and trends in imaging technology and ensure that clinical studies are aligned with the evidence needs of ongoing projects.
* As a member of the iApps team in the Image Guided Therapy Systems R&D organization at Philips, you'll work with highly skilled professionals specialized in the Validation and Usability domain. This team collaborates closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Clinical Science, Clinical Marketing, Service and Innovation.

You're the right fit if:
* You hold a PhD in a medical field.
* You have experience in the medical device/healthcare industry. Preference will be given to those with medical imaging experience.
* You have experience in validation of AI based products (preferred).
* You have experience in Usability Engineering (preferred).
* You have a good understanding of research methodologies and clinical study design according to good clinical practices.
* You have proven project management skills in managing multiple stakeholders and projects.
* You have knowledge of design controls and international standards & regulations.
* You possess a proactive attitude, are quality-conscious, excel in communication, adeptly solve problems, and collaborate effectively within a team.
* You have a fluent level of English (verbal and written).
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
