• The post holder will play a key role to the successful operation and delivery of a robust ICT Infrastructure. The post holder will maintain ICT network cabinets and support senior members within the team.
• The role will not be a heavy technical role, and will focus more on the physical maintenance of the network.
• This includes maintenance of cabinets, physical patching and assisting senior staff members.
• The main role of the Job will be to independently manage the Physical cabling and maintenance of comms cabinets.
• The role includes the racking and decommissioning of network devices as advised by the senior staff members
• The role will also expect the candidate to assist with ensuring assets are correctly managed.
• They are expected to resolve incidents or problems escalated to them by the Service Desk or Field Engineers. They are also expected to assist in the resolution of any Severity level 1 issues which arise in their technology area (networks), suspending all other work until the issue is resolved – under the direction of the Network Manager.
