Office Administrator Ongar - Main Contractor My client, a Main Contractor specialising in Affordable Housing Planned and responsive maintenance - and your future employer - ticks all the boxes: Excellent reputation as a professional, considerate and caring contractor who always deliver Privately owned company who actively embrace and cultivate their family culture Leader in the market - winning many long term contracts Over 40 years' experience, financially stable Very Competitive salaries with opportunities for career progression The Role: The vacancy is for an experienced Administrator to work in a busy, friendly construction maintenance office You will be able to manage company mail boxes and incoming/outgoing correspondance Acting as representative for the company, scheduling appointments and booking jobs - in coordination with tenants and contractors Works will include kitchen and bathroom upgrades, internal and external works, repairs and renovations - and you will liaise with contractors, booking in and monitoring jobs accordingly You will be able to raise purchase orders and manage spreadsheets The position is fully office based in Ongar, 5 days a week, 8am - 5pm (although there may be a little flexibility for the right candidate in terms of hours). The Person: You must have previous experience in a similar role - ideally for a construction company Stable career history, right to work permanently in the UK, based within an easy commute of Ongar Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; must enjoy working within a team and autonomously IT Literacy A friendly 'can-do' attitude, flexible to meet the admin needs of a busy office
