Plus generous benefits including: • Generous Occupational Pension Scheme About the Role We require a Technician to work within the Hospitality section of the Hospitality & Tourism Division at York College. The role will involve supporting both the teaching and The Cookery restaurant teams in the operation of curriculum and commercial activities, including assisting in maintaining Food Safety and Health and Safety systems and processes, general housekeeping and the ordering, processing and storage of commodities & supplies. About the Person You will have high organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to use Microsoft Office software. Previous catering experience would be advantageous but not essential. You should be self-motivated and able to work independently. You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work with young people in a supportive and instructive manner. You will have a flexible approach & be able to work as part of a team, supporting the quality of teaching and learning & work closely with teaching staff.
