Our Public Sector client is looking to recruit a Senior Procurement Officer on a 3 month initial contract. Hybrid (once a month in the office or as required)
Your main duties as part of this role will be to:
* Lead procurement processes across Adult Social Care and Public Health or Construction services.
* Manage large open tenders, frameworks, and lower-value procurement activities.
* Ensure compliance with Public Contracts Regulations and council policies.
* Work closely with stakeholders to assess needs and deliver effective procurement solutions.
* Identify and mitigate risks within procurement processes.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in procurement within Adult Social Care and Public Health or Construction sectors.
* Strong knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations and procurement frameworks.
* Demonstrated ability to manage tenders and other procurement methods effectively.
* Flexible approach to balancing complex and lower-value procurements.
