The Role of HR Officer:
* Recruitment & Onboarding: Attract top talent, conduct interviews, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
* Employee Relations: Foster a supportive environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and promoting a positive work culture.
* Policy Development: Help create and implement HR policies that enhance employee satisfaction and align with our company values.
* Training & Development: Identify training needs, coordinate learning opportunities, and support career development initiatives.
* Performance Management: Assist in the performance appraisal process to help employees reach their full potential.
* Compliance: Ensure all HR practises comply with relevant laws and regulations, keeping our workplace safe and respectful.
* HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and contribute to the efficient running of the HR department.
* Represent values in providing a great service to all colleagues across all aspects of HR processes, managing queries and processes including but limited to; employee relations, reward and wellbeing, absence management, probation and appraisal monitoring.
* Support managers with HR processes and ensure that all activities are fully compliance with current legislation, statutory requirements and company policy.
* Payroll: Ensuring matters relating to payroll (for example, contract changes) are managed in a timely and accurate manner with clear audit trail and interface with payroll processes and requirements.
The Ideal HR Officer:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent significantly demonstrable experience
* Strong knowledge of HR best practises and employment legislation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for supporting others.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Driving licence and own transport in order to travel to other sites in addition to head office
