Loans Administrator

Loans & Savings / Financial Administrator
35 hours, 5 Days a Week. Hybrid, 0830 to 1600. Permanent
£25,000 to £27,000 per annum.
Supporting a busy finance administration team, you will be dealing with incoming communications (mail, electronic mail and telephone enquiries) with diplomacy, tact and discretion; drafting responses and taking other appropriate follow-up action as required.
Key duties of this role include:
1. Dealing with incoming applications for loans, savings, and other financial services of this membership organisation.
2. Reviewing financial information on applications and helping to set up new applications to ensure they are accurate and comply with financial regulations.
3. Setting up new direct debits, running credit checks, and adhering to banking protocols.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to communicate at all levels. This is a diverse and busy role which would suit a candidate who is flexible, able to hit the ground running, and willing to support team members during peak times.
Excellent IT skills are required as you will be providing general administrative support across the department.
What you'll need to succeed:
You will need to be an experienced administrator who has previously worked within the banking/loans sector. This is a very varied administrative role; therefore, you will be required to be both flexible and adaptable.
Previous financial administration experience is essential along with a professional manner. Excellent communication skills and a polite and friendly approach are also essential.
