Role Title: Assistant Vice President (AVP) - UK Utilities & Infrastructure Sales

Summary of the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join our UK Utilities & Infrastructure team. This pivotal role focuses on driving sales and business growth by identifying and securing smaller value deals, which can serve as a gateway to larger strategic opportunities. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our presence across the utilities and infrastructure sectors.
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
Business Development:
* Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the utilities and infrastructure portfolio.
* Pursue smaller value deals with the potential to evolve into significant engagements.
Lead Generation:
* Attend industry conferences, events, and networking sessions to generate high-quality leads.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders and key decision-makers.
Sales Execution:
* Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of the utilities, engineering, telecoms, roads, and rail sectors.
* Collaborate with internal teams to design and present compelling proposals that address client needs.
Market Expertise:
* Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics in the utilities and infrastructure space.
* Leverage industry insights to identify emerging opportunities and refine sales approaches.
Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:
* Proven track record in a sales-oriented role with demonstrable success in hunting and closing deals.
* Background in utilities, engineering, telecoms, road, or rail sectors is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of infrastructure markets, industry challenges, and growth drivers.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a target-driven environment.
* Experience with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is not a priority, as our strengths already cover this domain.
