Qualifications/Training
Essential Criteria
* Accounting related degree/AAT starter/part qualified or equivalent experience
Desirable Criteria
* Good level of general education. GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above
Knowledge and Experience
Essential Criteria
* Experience in management accounting work.
* IT literate
Desirable Criteria
* Working experience in an Acute NHS Trust.
* Working knowledge of Oracle computerised accounting system
Personal Attributes & Skills
Essential Criteria
* Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff both verbally and in writing.
* Needs to be dynamic and able to participate in discussions of ideas and plans.
* Competent IT skills including Excel and Word and General Ledger accounting systems.
* Strong spreadsheet skills.
* Good communication skills, both oral and written.
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines with supervision.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Flexible and adaptable.
Desirable Criteria
* Working knowledge of databases.
* Ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues.
