Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our vibrant team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, fostering a love of learning in our young students.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to Key Stage 2 students.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social, emotional, and academic development.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and a cohesive approach to the curriculum.
5. Maintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student progress and well-being.
6. Contribute to the wider school community, participating in events, meetings, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
8. Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students desirable
9. Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
12. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
