Band 3G, circa £33,821 per annum for applicants with no relevant Data Protection skills/experience, rising to Band 3H, circa £43,719 per annum (inclusive of a £5000 market supplement) when the applicant possesses the relevant required skills, knowledge and experience, plus benefits.

In this role, you will support and advise the Force in optimising their use of police information to deliver effective and efficient policing.
You will be an effective communicator with good influencing skills and the ability to engage customers at all levels in order to deliver good service, meeting the needs of both the customer and the department. You will be able to work under your own initiative, have good problem-solving skills and be able to prioritise and manage varied work within tight deadlines. The ability to pay attention to detail and be confident using IT is also essential along with the ability to maintain a high degree of integrity and trust whilst dealing with sensitive and classified information. A good knowledge of Information Management principles/legislation and their practical application or experience of relevant disciplines is required.
