This is a key role within our transport department, responsible for the transportation and handling of stock between our East Kilbride depot and Burnopfield/Newcastle location. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and collections. As a Driver your responsibilities will include, although are not limited to: Delivering customer orders and collecting stock from suppliers whilst ensuring that products are handled and stored according to GDP during transport. Identify cold chain products or controlled drugs upon receipt and store them appropriately. Ensure compliance with the Falsified Medicines Directive by reporting any falsified medicines. Store controlled drugs according to the storage requirements specific by the Home Office. Record any Customer Complaints received and forward the information to the Quality Assurance department for investigation.
