Nursery: Bright Horizons Wimbledon Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: Starting from £27,231.95 - £28,274.40 per annum (Full-time equivalent - Pro-rata) (dependent on qualification/s and experience)
We are looking for a full time, Level 2/3 qualified Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Wimbledon Nursery, situated only 8 minutes walk from Wimbledon Station and south Wimbledon Tube Station. We are also fortunate to be right next to Merton Park Tram stop.
This role can be on a part time basis, ranging from 30-40 hours, working either full days, opening shifts or closing shifts.
Our Bright Horizons Wimbledon Nursery is Ofsted rated 'Good', and offers a children's kitchen, dedicated ICT room, and four large, individual outdoor learning areas for the children to explore!

What you’ll be doing
* Plan, create and implement engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
* Observing, tracking and reflecting on learning
* Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
* Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
* Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis
What we’re looking for
* Full and Relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
* Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
* Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
* Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
* Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
* Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
