We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier/Sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time will be essential in ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our clientele.
Duties
1. Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
2. Process transactions accurately using the till and handle cash responsibly.
3. Maintain an organised checkout area, ensuring it is clean and well-stocked.
4. Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
5. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
6. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
7. Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies as needed.
Skills
1. Excellent phone etiquette to assist customers over the phone when required.
2. Strong organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently during busy periods.
3. Multilingual abilities are advantageous, particularly in English and other languages, to cater to diverse customers.
4. Basic maths skills for accurate transaction processing and change handling.
5. Proficient in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities.
6. Effective communication skills to engage with customers clearly and courteously.
7. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 60 per week
