The role
As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and serviceability of aircraft in a dynamic operational environment. You will work on piston engine aircraft with carbon fibre frames. Training can be provided for any gaps in your knowledge.
You will collaborate with our customer to support elementary flying training and air experience flights, along with auxiliary services such as mechanical transport, air traffic control, and fire and rescue services. Your responsibilities include:
* Driving the delivery of flying activities at RAF Woodvale, maintaining safety and excellence in service.
* Generating and releasing aircraft to service in compliance with civilian legislation and company approvals.
* Providing engineering, maintenance, and related services to meet customer expectations and contractual needs.
This is a full-time onsite role based at RAF Woodvale. The company may occasionally require deployment to other sites or detachments.
Essential experience
* Supervisory experience in an aviation environment.
Qualifications
* EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence, or successfully passed modules towards it.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to obtain BPSS security clearance. Many roles are subject to security and trade restrictions based on nationality and residency.
