We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher of science to join an exciting, dynamic and successful department. The post is suitable for either an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher.
Student attainment is good within Science GCSE courses and there is a substantial cohort of students taking the Triple Science course. Trilogy results were above the national average in 2019 and students make great progress within Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Science also has a successful post-16 uptake, with A-level courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Applied Science.
The person we are seeking will:

* Be reflective and eager to develop their teaching skills.
Little Heath School is a highly successful comprehensive school (1658 on roll, including 366 in the Sixth Form) situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting to the west of Reading, with good access to road and rail links. The school has recently benefited from a significant and transformational building project, opening a new £15 million main block in spring 2021.
