Sherwood Forest Hospitals have an exciting Band 5 opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Children's Nurse to join our paediatric team.
As a Registered Nurse you will support the Ward/Department Leader in ensuring the delivery of high quality patient care, making a real difference to patient's lives.
Our children's ward is a 30 bedded unit with both medical and surgical beds, 2 high dependency beds and a Children's Assessment Unit within the ward and there are options to rotate within this. We also have a well-established day-case surgery pathway.
We are looking for first level Registered Children's Nurses, newly qualified or experienced who are able to work flexibly over a 24-hour period, are eager to develop their skills and expertise and who are keen to join a friendly, enthusiastic and supportive nursing team, dedicated to providing high quality, evidence-based care.
At #TeamSFH we have a well-established Practice Development Team who will support you throughout the Preceptorship Programme if you are newly qualified.

Qualifications-Academic/ Craft/ Professional
* RN child, RSCN
* Teaching qualification (ENB 998, D32/33)
* EPALS
Further Training
* Safeguarding children
* Clinical supervision
Experience
* Previous experience of children's services
* Optimism and sense of humour
* Experience of audit and research
Contractual Requirements
* To work within a 24 hour rota, night duty and weekends
