We are embarking upon some exciting times in the development of our Patient Experience team for Children’s Services including the production of a Children’s Charter and embedding of a Children’s Rights based approach. We are delighted to be able to recruit to a secondment/ temporary post which is dedicated to supporting a positive patient /service user experience.
The location for this post can be discussed with the successful candidate. Possible locations Wrexham Child Health Centre, Wrexham and Catherine Gladstone House, Mancot. There is also an element of working from home.
Main duties of the job
BCUHB is committed to engaging with our patients and service users to listen and learn from their experiences to become improvement focused on care pathways. To support this commitment, we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative individual to join our Children’s Learning Disability service to work alongside Patient Experience colleagues in CAMHS services and Neurodevelopmental Services.
You are expected to have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work on your own initiative, problem solve, prioritise your workload, manage projects and meet agreed deadlines.
Due to the necessary engagement with children and young people and their families the ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
