Job Description
Turner & Townsend are seeking a Finance Analyst to support their delivery of works in Defence. The role sits within a fast-moving vibrant team that provide support to a range of projects and joint ventures. The individual will be a self-starter, who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and brings financial process delivery experience and excel capability.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
1. To carry out all financial administration related to Turner & Townsend Defence projects, in liaison with the Finance Manager.
2. Manage and analyse a high volume of sales invoices with acute attention to detail.
3. Supporting with Project set-up on D365.
4. Chasing aged debts to ensure timely cash collection and reconciliation for all cash receipts.
5. Check, reconcile and receipt supplier invoices.
6. Gather data from various sources, including databases and spreadsheets. Ensure data is accurate, complete, and properly formatted.
7. Present financial data to stakeholders clearly and concisely using visualisations, dashboards and reports.
8. Coordinate collation of timesheets, project deliverables and client approvals to support invoicing.
9. Prepare Purchase orders and Sub-contract agreements.
10. Dealing first-hand with financial/project queries from the client and suppliers.
11. Costing task orders and populating cost models.
12. Supporting with forecasting, budgeting, WIP and reporting.
13. Support the Finance Manager with Ad-hoc tasks.
REPORTING
This role reports to the Finance Manager and offers flexible working.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
1. Sales invoices are produced to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
2. Month end data is analysed in detail and areas of potential risk are highlighted.
3. Key information and data are accurately maintained.
4. Promote and encourage positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; including project teams, clients and suppliers.
Qualifications
1. Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Word skills.
2. CIMA/ACCA/AAT or previous experience within an equivalent Finance role.
3. UK Security Clearance must be obtained - Therefore UK nationals only.
4. Previous experience within a Business Partnering role would be desirable.
