The role You are a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Finance professional eager to join our Finance team as UK Finance Manager. This role will be responsible for UK markets. This role reports directly to the EU Finance Director. As Finance Manager, you play a critical role in helping shape our financial future and provide exceptional support and insights to our clients and stakeholders. You prioritise accuracy and attention to detail and proactively seek opportunities for professional growth employing best practices to achieve success in our dynamic and futurist-thinking environment. Specific responsibilities will include: AP & GL Reviewing and posting all vendor invoices, bank journals, accruals & prepayments, done by AP coordinator Analysing and posting bad debt entry, foreign exchange variances, payroll, holidays, tax Reviewing monthly payment run done by AP coordinator Conducting bank reconciliation Managing the asset registration Reviewing VAT done by AP coordinator Setting up vendors following ICFR controls, helping operational team with their timesheet submission, purchase order creation if needed. Revenue Keeping monthly billing schedule tracker updated and making sure all supporting documentation are received, accurate and saved. Reviewing client drafts invoices done by European biller Analysing monthly revenue and posting entries related to accrued expenses on clients and deferred income. Providing analytics skills, analysing profitability per clients / timesheet report / service levels. Keeping track of client chasing done by European biller and action if necessary Reporting Updating monthly Profit & Loss files Reconciling trial balance with supporting documentation Analysing variances between actuals and budget/forecast and providing explanations Reporting in SAP monthly P&L, BS and all breakdown details Reporting quarterly & yearly report in SAP General Managing a team included an AP coordinator based in Paris office and European biller based in London office Implementing internal controls related to ICFR in each cycle involved Liaising with your respective HR colleagues on payroll topics Liaising with third parties such as external auditors, legal authorities, WPP Being involve in Maconomy system maintenance Being involve in any migration, system transition Helping the team to build a budget, working on contract, providing legal support to operational member Keeping a close communication with country leads and being a financial support for them What we’re looking for To fulfil the expectations of this role, we are looking for some who has: A strong data analyst skills (excel, power Bi) A passion about providing a seamless service to your client group Proven experience of building solid relationships with managers and colleagues across remote and distributed environments The ability to speak business level English (a must) A professional manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in related field Experience of working within a matrix structure organisation Numeracy with impeccable attention to detail and excellent administration skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines A pro-active approach with a flexible nature and a co-operative and willing attitude The ability to be always an ambassador for the agency What We Offer As well as exciting career growth opportunities we offer a generous remuneration package and employee benefits.
