Job summary The PMO Manager will lead the Programme Management Office for the EastMidlands Cancer Alliance (EMCA), ensuring the successful delivery of programmes and projects aligned with local, regional, and national objectives. This role involves overseeing governance frameworks, providing expert programme and project management support, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services that improve cancer outcomes across the region. The East Midlands Cancer Alliance is currently developing internal corporate functions. The PMO manager will be expected to support organisational development. Main duties of the job Develop and implement a content management system that centralises information in relation to project delivery. Establish and maintain governance that supports the delivery of the entire portfolio of cancer projects. Provide assurance on robust risk and issue management. Ensure internal accountability that aligns with corporate governance practices. Manage all corporate business returns, including planning and workforcereturns. Support a culture of innovation, working where required in partnership withorganisations such as Academic Health Science Networks and LocalWorkforce Advisory Boards. Contribute to the planning, delivery, and assurance of large-scaleprogrammes of quality improvement which support commissioners inachieving outcome ambitions for patients.
