Registered Veterinary Nurse at Harbour Veterinary Hospital, Portsmouth – Up to £35,000 FTE DOE (Maternity Leave Cover)
Harbour Veterinary Hospital is a busy practice located in the seaside town of Portsmouth, offering referral services in cardiology, keyhole surgery, orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology to our clients.
We are searching for a dedicated RVN to join our team for a 12-month Maternity Leave cover opportunity, looking to commence in June 2025.
The role is full-time (up to 40 hours per week), with no OOH and weekends on rota.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to experience a varied caseload and be an integral part of surgeries, ward shifts, and Nurse-led clinics.
The RVN role includes:
* Working as an active member of the clinical support team.
* Fully participating in the Nursing rota as directed by the Head Nurse.
* Providing the highest standards of client service and patient care.
* Ensuring timely and effective communication with all colleagues working in the Practice.
* Providing assistance and support for the Veterinary Surgeons within the Practice environment.
* Complying with all professional regulations, legislation, and standards associated with independent accreditation such as the RCVS practice standards scheme.
* Complying with CVS's H&S policies and attending relevant training as required.
