Job Description
Our PMO Yorkshire Northeast team is looking to expand its Controls community. We are a close-knit team and we’re looking to welcome passionate and ambitious candidates across all our professional, senior professional and managerial grades. With exciting growth in the region including new Major Programmes, Projects and Clients, we’re looking for flexible and mobile Planning and Scheduling / Performance Reporting / Risk Management candidates to deliver services in our local region. Travel within Yorkshire and the Northeast is required dependent on the project and can be discussed further during the recruitment process.
Responsibilities
Working alongside project delivery teams as part of a wider reporting & performance management team or independently, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Tailoring reporting processes to meet the client’s needs and aligning with best practice.
* Delivering performance and reporting management plans for clients based on project requirements.
* Promoting the benefits and requirements of Performance Reporting & Analytics within the project and programme team.
* Implementing, administering, and maintaining reporting systems and procedures to track project controls performance.
* Working with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, integrated Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and support the change control process.
* Rolling out reporting calendars to ensure a consistent drumbeat of performance data.
* Defining requirements and data flows for information management systems.
* Leading the development, analysis and maintenance of corporate datasets.
* Providing guidance on data quality issues to a variety of data providers.
* Preparing materials for governance through projects, programmes, portfolios and the enterprise.
* Identifying performance recovery recommendations for stakeholders and management.
* Supporting the project team in developing and embedding KPIs.
* Developing project performance reports and dashboards.
* Leading preparation of presentations for client governance forums.
* Contributing towards our national and regional performance & reporting communities.
* Training and coaching clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes.
Qualifications
* Experience in a project or programme environment is essential.
* An understanding of how other aspects of Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control) interact with Reporting.
* Demonstrable track record in identifying reporting and data requirements.
* Awareness of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys) is desirable.
* Experience in using data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI).
* An understanding of data, data architecture and data models.
