Purpose of Role Full control of the sales ledger & credit control function. To work with colleagues to ensure invoices are issued to clients and payment is received in a timely manner. The post holder will demonstrate high levels of professionalism at all times, covering but not limited to appearance, written and verbal communications and speed of response to queries and requests Key Accountabilities/ Dimensions of Role Ø Raise sales invoices Ø Maintain sales forecast spreadsheet Ø Input sales data onto invoice discounting portal Ø Invoice discounting bank reconciliation Ø Setting up new customer accounts Ø Credit checking customers and maintaining credit limits in bespoke software Ø Running weekly WIP reports Ø Producing various customer reports inc customer profitability reports for use by senior management Ø Closing completed jobs on the system Ø Credit control duties including calling & emailing customers chasing overdue accounts. Ø Distributing weekly debtor report to relevant departments Ø Liaising with Sales Manager & KAM on their customer accounts, WIP, and debtors’ status. Ø Deposit cheques as required Ø Taking customer card payments using an online portal Ø Dealing with queries in a professional and efficient manner Ø Assist with monthly sales journal posting Ø Liaise with external auditors where required Ø Support TT Finance Manager in achieving objectives of the finance function Ø Representing the Company behaviours of Customer Focus, Delivery, Teamwork & Communication, Resilience & Courage, Common Sense and Technical Capability. Ø You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties.
