DevOps Engineer - Gloucestershire - £550-£650 per day - 12 months
All applicants must hold an HMG3 DV.
My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a DevOps Engineer to play a key role in a IT infrastructure program of national importance.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration & Delivery: Collaborate in seamlessly integrating development outputs into release modules and guiding their progression to operational service.
Release-to-Service Management: Facilitate the release-to-service process, including navigating security and accreditation protocols.
Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on system designs, development tools, technologies, and best practices.
Infrastructure Development: Build robust, pragmatic solutions to address real-world challenges in Cloud and IT infrastructure.
Incident Resolution: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain operational excellence.Required Skills and Qualifications
Programming & Scripting - Java, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform.
Automation Tools: Ansible, Puppet, and Foreman.
Cloud Platforms: AWS Cloud or Azure.
Operating Systems: Red Hat Linux and Windows Server.
Containerisation: Docker or Kubernetes.
Virtualisation: VMware, OpenShift and Hyper-V
